George Nelson

George Nelson was an important modernist whose work cut across the fields of interior, industrial and exhibition design. In his post-World War II book: Tomorrow's House, for instance he introduced the concept of the "family room". Another one of those innovative concepts, the "storage wall" attracted the attention of D.J. De Pree, Herman Miller's president.
